Description
• Vivo Energy Zambia are recruiting a Depot Supervisor to join their Supply and Distribution team!
• Supply and Distribution (S&D) is at the heart of Vivo Energy’s business and has the primary responsibility of managing and optimizing the physical supply chain. Our goal is to deliver the right product to the right place on time and maximizing the overall margin potential across the different lines of businesses.
• The Depot Supervisor will lead champion Depot safety & operational efficiency to ensure the business volume requirements are met safely and to effectively manage product receipt, storage & distribution and development/maintenance of the necessary facilities to Group HSSEE & operational standards.

Requirements
• Responsible for effective Risk Management in Depot Operations
• To establish a pro-active HSSE culture and ensure awareness amongst staff and contractors.
• To ensure operatives working in the depot have the right competence in both HSSE and operations
• To ensure safe operations in all areas of the depot using Vivo Energy Zambia hazard control tools
• To supervise manage product receipt, storage and loading of petroleum products in depot operations.
• Ensure depot maintenance is done timely and within cost
• Ensure contingency plans work and cover the risks of service disruptions
• Accountable for product quality in Depot operations
• Ensure daily targets on both receipt and loading are met safely

Principal Accountabilities
• A strong operational professional with an Engineering degree preferably Mechanical
• Strong analytical skills with ability to use trends and patterns to optimize operations
• Strong computer skills especially Microsoft excel
• Self-motivated, mature professional with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage and integrate with others in different functions.
• Ability to work and integrate in a multicultural and diverse team.
• Good communicator, both written and oral.
• Ability to manage and lead change
