Development Manager
The Twabane Creative Centre is the latest exciting project started by the Tongabezi Trust School. The Creative Centre’s vision is to enable members of the local community from the Simonga catchment area, as well as pupils and previous pupils from Tujatane School, to learn new skills and build livelihoods. The long-term goal is that the Centre becomes self-sustaining through the sale of its products.
At this exciting period of growth for the Centre, we are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven Development Manager to direct, develop, implement, and manage the Centre’s community programmes and business activities. As an ideal candidate, you will be a strong leader with proven experience of researching skills development programmes, developing and delivering community projects, leading a team and managing budgets and finances effectively. You are a strong leader
and expert researcher with an ability to develop impactful and community-led projects. You will need to have a passion for community development

Skills and Qualifications:
• Degree level education, preferably Masters, in Development Studies or Community Development
• Excellent understanding of the skills development and employment landscape in Zambia, especially for women and young people
• Proven experience researching and delivering impactful skills development programmes
• Ability to build strong elationships with national stakeholders and international donors, especially those based in the UK
• Experience of leading project teams and performance development programmes, and ability to motivate and hold employees accountable
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Understanding of QuickBooks financing software
