Grassroot Soccer Zambia is an adolescent health Organisation that leverages the power of soccer to Educate, Inspire and Mobilise youths in Zambia to overcome their greatest health challenges, live healthier, more productive lives, and be agents for change in their communities. GRS Zambia is Registered as a local Non-Governmental Organization, with programs reaching an estimated 40,000 at risk young people annually across Zambia. The overlapping epidemics of gender based violence, HIV, and broader sexual and reproductive health are the primary focus of our work, with complimentary programming on youth leadership and employability.
Grassroot Soccer Zambia seeks to fill the following position:
Driver
Location: Lusaka Head Office

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to provide wide range of logistical activities in supporting all Member of staff in various units of GRSZ ensuring that all errands are carried out as scheduled within and outside the province of Lusaka.

Responsibilities:
• Support All Members of staff in their respective Unit activities
• Provide Support during Purchasing of Office Supplies, Stationery and other office necessities
• Ensure that all trips are authorized, indicating the starting-off mileage and purpose of the journey in the log book before any trip is undertaken and stating the mileage at the end of the trip
• Ensure high standard of cleanliness both inside and outside the vehicles
• Report all accidents and defects on vehicles and ensure that timely action is taken
• Ensuring vehicles have fuel at all times before any trip is under taken
Other Duties and Responsibilities
The Driver may be required to perform duties that are beyond the scope of the job description in mutual discussion and agreement with the supervisor.

Qualifications:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Certificate/Diploma in mechanical field will be an added advantage
• Basic Computer knowledge
• Clean driver’s Licence – Class G, PSV will be an added advantage
• Trust worthy and able to accommodate team member
• Team player
• 3 years and above work experience in a busy Organisation
• Familiar with Zambian routes – Northern, Eastern, Copperbelt, Northwestern, Western and Lusaka
• Experience in NGO Sector with recent traceable referees.
• Knowledge of USAID regulations will be an added advantage
