JOB DETAILS:
Duties & Responsibilities:
• To drive within Lusaka and out of town for work purposes
• Check the condition of a vehicle’s tires, brakes, windshield wipers, oil, lights, fuel, water, and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working condition
• Comply with traffic regulations to operate the study vehicle in a safe and courteous manner
• Monthly report on vehicles status
• Timely updates on due study vehicle service
• Maintain knowledge of first aid procedures
• Regular updating of vehicle logbook
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
• Making sure that the Company vehicles are up to date with the all the statutory requirements to be deemed road worthy which are insurance, road tax and road fitness.

Qualification Criteria:
• Minimum grade Twelve (12) school certificate
• Between 28 years to 40 years of age
• Knowledge of Zambian Highway Code
• Clean and valid class C driving license
• 5 years driving experience in a busy environment
• Basic Knowledge of mechanics
• Professional integrity including safeguarding standards

Skillset Required:
• Mature and sober character
• Reliable, dependable and honest
• Ability to communicate in English and local languages fluently
• Should have experience in long distance driving.
• Should be very familiar with roads in Zambia.
