About EcoHive Energy Systems:
EcoHive Energy Systems is a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, delivering innovative solar and backup power systems to communities across Zambia. We are expanding our team and are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with knowledge in PV installation and inverters.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, install, and maintain photovoltaic (PV) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Supervise the installation of inverters and ensure seamless system integration with solar panels.
• Conduct site assessments, system sizing, and energy efficiency evaluations.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with solar power systems, including inverters and battery setups.
• Collaborate with the project management team to develop customized energy solutions.
• Provide technical support and training to clients, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Ensure all installations comply with national electrical standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PV system design, installation, and inverter setup.
• Knowledge of solar PV systems, battery storage, and inverters.
• Experience with MPPT charge controllers and both grid-tied and off-grid systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Relevant certifications in solar PV installation or electrical engineering (EIZ certification is an advantage).
