The Embassy of the United States of America in Kigali is recruiting for the position of Electrical Lead Technician. The position is available to start immediately.

The incumbent reports directly to the NEC Superintendent in the Facility Management office. The position holder is employed as an Electrical Lead Technician to accomplish skilled maintenance and repair work at the journeyman electrician level, to International Building Code standards, throughout all facilities on the New Embassy Compound (NEC) to include office buildings, grounds, out buildings, ancillary structures, and residential owned/leased properties. The incumbent is a lead technician responsible for overseeing the work activities of multi-trade FAC technicians assigned to the NEC; Elect/Gen Tech, Maintenance Man, Welder, carpenter and Mason/Painter. This position is not a rater or direct supervisor. Serves as lead technician overseeing daily work for electrical, welding, carpentry, masonry, and general maintenance.
