Job title: Engineering Procurement Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Engineering Project management Execution -Planning and Scheduling
• Planning the procurement/Outsourcing of Sub-contractors
• Planning for the procurement of equipment, services and supplies.
• Monitoring and enforcing the company’s procurement policies and procedures.
• Reviewing, comparing, evaluating and approving of Engineering Vendor products and services.
• Managing inventories and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintaining and updating supplier information.
• Maintaining good supplier relations.
• Negotiating contracts in the engineering aspects
• Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.
• Preparing budgets, cost analyses and reports.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
• Degree/Professional diploma in Purchasing and Supply management or a similar field preferred.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering /Telecommunication /Information . Technology with a procumbent qualification is an added advantage.
• 3+ years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Supervisory and management experience.
