Job Description:
• As an Entry-Level Pastry Chef at Okavango Foods, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are eager to kickstart their career in the culinary world and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We welcome both qualified candidates and those with relevant experience.

Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
• Follow recipes and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
• Contribute creative ideas to develop new and innovative pastry offerings.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Adhere to health and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:
• Passion for the culinary arts and a keen interest in pastry.
• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent; culinary education is a plus.
• Previous experience in a pastry kitchen is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.
