JOB DETAILS:

  International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) currently in the process of conducting a baseline survey in Eastern, Northern and Southern provinces of Zambia. Therefore, CIMMYT is seeking Enumerators based in the following specific districts Kasama, Mbala, Senga Hill, Choma, Monze, Mazabuka, Sinda, Chiapata and Lundazi to collect field data. This is for a duration of ten (21) days. Training and mentoring will be provided to those who will be engaged.

  Job Responsibilities:
Enumerators will work under the direction of a Socio-Economics Research team
• The Enumerator will collect field data using various data collection tools.
• The Enumerator will be responsible for ensuring correct data is collected.
• Keep record or inventory of information obtained during data collection.
• The Enumerator will enter such collected data into a database via a laptop/ Tablet.
• Collaborates with other data collectors and supervisors.
• The Enumerator will perform any other duties as assigned

  Job Qualifications:
• Degree in Agricultural Economics or Development studies from a recognized university.
• Must have research and analytical skills;
• Good computer skills
• Strong and proactive interpersonal skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Excellent team building and co-operative work skills;
• Strong results orientation and able to speak either Tonga, Bemba or Nyanja
