Expression of Interest for the Provision of Intelligent Security Solutions at First National Bank Zambia Limited

Introduction

First National Bank Zambia Limited, a subsidiary of First Rand, is calling for Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Provision of Intelligent Security Solutions to FNB Zambia. The Expression of Interest (EOI) shall be followed by a Request for Proposals (RFP) to the pre-qualified suppliers. The Bankintends to have a long Term Agreement with the successful bidder of the RFP to be issued subsequent to this EOI.

Interested, competent and qualified suppliers and service providers may now submit their applications marked;

a: FNB/E01/1/22 - Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Provision of Intelligent Security Solution to FNB Zambia.

Experience and Qualification

All interested, competent and qualified suppliers and service providers must provide electronic coples of the following:

I) Certificate of incorporation

II) Valid Tax Clearance Certificate.

III Valid Taxpayers identification Number (TPIN) Certificate.

IV) Latest Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA) stamped annual returns submission form (with details of shareholders).

V)Official physical location of the business (note that your business premises may be visited as part of the pre-qualification process).

In addition to the above, the interested suppliers and Service Providers MUST provide;

A brief summary of the Intelligent Security Solutions currently being offered clearly stating the proprietary owner of the solution, what the solution can do and the confirmation that the solution is currently in use and not a mere concept. Proof of the existence of a securely located control room.

Submission

Soft copies (ie, soft copies stored on a CD or Flash disc) of all information requested for above enclosed in two sealed envelopes marked as follows the outer envelope shall be clearly marked FNB/E01/1/22 - Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Provision of Intelligent Security Solutions to FNB Zambia; and the inner envelope shall clearly be marked with the name of the bidder. The sealed envelopes shall be deposited in person in the tender box located at FNB Zambia Operations, Mulungushi House Stand No. 22768 Thabo Mbeki Road Lusaka on or before 15:00 hours, Thursday 10th November 2022.

Please note that if the envelopes are not sealed and marked as required, the bank will assume no responsibility for the misplacement or premature opening of the bid.

This is only an invitation for expression of interest and First National Bank Zambia Limited may cancel the process at any time without notice. Submission of application does not result in any contractual relationship between the bidder and FNB,

FNB is under no obligation whatsoever to prequalify any bidder and the decision of the evaluation committee shall be final. The bidder is fully liable for any cost incurred in the preparation and submission of their application
