JOB DETAILS:
The role of Financial Accountant in the Company is to supervise the finance team. The Financial Accountant will ensure that accurate and timely Financial Information is processed. She/he will also be responsible of making sure that the Statement of Comprehensive Income and Statement of Financial Position are produced in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs). .

Responsibilities
• Prepare Financial Statements at the year end
• Prepare Taxation schedules for the year-end tax computation
• Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Review of statutory payments and remittance before due dates
• Reconciliation of intercompany transactions
• Maintain sound internal control environment for the business
• Prepare year end schedules for the audit
• Proper filing of company documents
• Reconciliation of non-current assets on a monthly basis
• Budget preparation on a yearly basis
• Review of supplier reconciliations
• Preparation of weekly cash plan

Qualifications
• Minimum qualifications -ACCA III and or CIMA Final or related.
• Full grade twelve certificate
• At least 3 years working experience as a Financial Accountant
• Working knowledge of accounting systems such as Pastel, SAP, ERP systems
• Excellent knowledge of IFRSs
