JOB DETAILS:
Fairbridge Capital Ltd. is a start-up Financial Institution created to help improve the economic inclusiveness of people in Zambia and beyond.
We are looking for a Junior Business Leader to join our Micro Finance wing of the business. The mandate is to help provide simplified solutions to our client base, by leveraging technology.
Our aspiring Junior Business Leaders should have:
• entrepreneurial curiosity;
• be self-motivated;
• have an understanding of business operations in general;
• must be tech savvy;
• Socially intelligent and academically proficient.
The position is an internship that will evolve into full-time employment for the top performing Junior Leader.
The successful Junior Leader will work alongside Senior Leaders and will participate in various aspects of operations. Among others, the responsibilities for Financial Analysis and Reporting at various stages of the internship culminating in final Business Solutions presentation to the company leadership.
Our Junior Leader’s success is judged based on:
• the quality of solutions they provide to help simplify the lives of our clients;
• ability to work well in a team;
• ability to challenge assumptions underlying the status quo; and
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Therefore, limited emphasis is placed on academic results and more emphasis on knowledge application.
Aspiring Junior Leaders must submit a cover letter addressed to the Managing Director, clearly motivating why they should be considered for this position and a Resume outlining their accomplishments to date. .
