JOB DETAILS:
We are a UK-based information production company that is looking for Financial Data Analysts to join our team.
You will work closely with the editors, researchers and reporters.
As a Financial Data Analyst, you should be able to perform thorough research on various topics and have a keen eye for detail.
Ultimately, you should be able to deliver good quality data and analysis reports.
This role is based in Lusaka, Zambia.

Responsibilities
• Ensure data accuracy across all our projects
• Co-ordinate team members to deliver data projects on time
• Update online databases with key financial information, statistics and analysis
• Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders via email communication
• Conduct web-based research for further information managers.
• Ensure data profiles are updated accurately
• Analyse large data sets and to control for quality and accuracy
• Provide administrative support to the administrative manager
• Write and produce analysis reports to a high standard

Requirements
• Accounting, mathematics, statistics, business or finance degree, or equivalent
• Previous data research or analysis experience is a MUST
• At least 1 year working in a corporate environment
• Very strong accuracy and research skills
• Previous experience working with databases or CRMs
• Intermediate understanding of capital markets is desired
• Strong writing and financial analysis skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point
• Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels
• Ability to ensure ongoing self-development
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organised and efficient
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Work using own initiative and without close supervision
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
