JOB DETAILS:
General Manager
Essential Duties
• You will report to the Board of Directors
• Day to day smooth running of operations.
• Ensuring seamless operations of company
• Business development by vigorous promoting the company services
• Submitting reports to Directors reflecting transparent and accurate analysis of all departments
• Build and develop a high performing team through embedding performance development coaching
• Ensuring effective management of staff on a daily basis to ensure that control measure is followed and service delivery is always achieved in line with the company objec
• Recommend and implement service enhancement strategies
• Meet client’s requirements and adhere to Swiss guard security standard of operations.
• Maintain and Train the guards to the expected level.
• Ensure to main staffing levels at guard unit level and supervisory staff.
• Enforce the company code of conduct.
• To supervise the Operations Manager on daily basis on the operational matters.
• To make sure all the Managers observe and carry out duties as required of them.
• Ensure strict supervision of all company fleet in the Region and report any defects or maintenance requirements needed for the fleet under your charge.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and make timely reports for routine maintenance or damage caused on any company vehicle.
• Carryout investigations and report to the Board of Directors on the findings.
• Help conduct disciplinary hearing with collaboration with Human Resources Manager.
• Ensure your daily work plan to include, among other plans.
Qualifications
• Results and action oriented.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Minimum 10 years’ experience with a minimum of a Bachelor’s or Master Degree.
• Must have been in Senior Management position of at least 5 years
• Excellent knowledge of the principles and techniques of administrative management including organization, planning, staffing, training, budgeting, and reporting.
• Knowledge of the principles of organization, workflow, forms, supplies, equipment, correspondence, mail, procurement, and stock keeping Knowledge of methods of research and analysis, work standards, and work simplification Reports in a timely fashion.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Extensive experience in preventing illegal activity and performing access control.
• In-depth knowledge of security procedures and surveillance equipment.
• Knowledge of security industry regulations
