The management of Rwanda Energy Group Limited (REG Ltd) informs the Public that it is recruiting competent, qualified and experienced staff to the following positions:
Group Strategic Planning Coordinator (Director)

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Delivery

• Coordinates Planning functions in REG and its Subsidiaries (EUCL, EDCL) to ensure harmonised plans and avoid duplication;
• Provide advisory role regarding new technologies,
• Engineering performance reporting at group level;
  Leadership
• Develop Business Plan and Budget for Planning Department aligned with REG Strategic Plans;
• Develop Deliverables, agree KPIs, Monitor, Review and Evaluate performance for External Link team;
  Safety, Health & Environment
• Ensure Planning activities and staff comply with Safety, Environment and Health statutory, legal and regulatory guidelines;
• Ensure the Group Planning efforts result in minimal negative &/or adverse environmental impact;

Educational requirements & experience:

• BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro–Mechanical Engineering, A minimum of 8 years’ experience in an Electricity Utility, and
• 3 years’ experience in a senior management position, and
• 5 years of experience in Network Planning & Design
  Or
• MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro–Mechanical Engineering
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Electricity Utility, and
• 3 years’ experience in a senior management position, and
• 3 years of experience in Network Planning & Design
