Job Title: Guidance & Counseling Modules/ Materials Production Officer

Reports To: Director of Career Guidance and Counseling Unit

Job Description
• Accountable to the Director of Career Guidance & Counseling Unit;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of program at school level;
• Organize teacher trainings in the field of Guidance and Counseling;
• To design, develop, produce, distribute and experiment guides for officers in charge of Counseling and Guidance in Districts and schools;
• To work in collaboration with National Examination Counsel on decision taking concerning students’ orientation in schools.
Job Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Career Development, Education, Communication, Sociology, Social Work, Community Studies, Public Administration, Administrative Sciences, Human Development.
Key technical skills and knowledge required:
• Report writing and presentation skills;
• Computer literacy;
• Collaboration and team working skills;
• Effective communication skills;
• Management and administrative skills;
• Time management;
• General knowledge on Rwanda education system and policies Expertise in counseling;
• Effective verbal, presentation and listening communications skills;
• Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English or French; knowledge of all these three (3) languages is an advantage.
