HR and Administrative Assistant
Overview

Razel-Bec limited, a construction and civil engineering company which is currently undertaking a project of rehabilitating the plunge pool of the Kariba dam in Siavonga Zambia. The purpose of the contract is to perform, on behalf of the Zambezi River Authority (ZRA), works to reshape the plunge pool of the Kariba dam on the Zambezi River, which is a natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe:
1. Human Resource and Administrative Assistant We are looking for HR and administrative Assistant to provide support to the day-to-day operations – Availability Immediately
• Receiving, opening, sorting/categorizing and filling of applications addressed to the HR office.
• Assisting the HR officer in organizing, scheduling and calling of new applicants for interview appointments or tests.
• Explaining procedures to be taken before start of work to successful candidates who join the workforce.
• Assisting/attending to fellow workers on addressing some matters that are brought to HR office if directed.
• Creating and writing vital letters such as the change of salaries letters, certificates of service and recommendation letters for workers leaving the company.
• Assist in new engagements and ensure that the companies standard recruiting and hiring practices are followed.
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters and forms.
• Create, edit and register correspondence letters.
• Manage company petty cash, reconcile, and submit weekly/monthly expense reports.
• Issue and record all cash advances to all local and expatriate employees
• Reserve and book for accommodations for all expatriates and visitors.
• Manage the fuel account and issue refueling coupons to company and contractor’s vehicles.
• Prepare weekly meal plans for the hotel charged to feed company expatriates.
• Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt against supplies.
• Managing airport drop-offs/pickups for local and expatriate’s team.
• Provide logistical support for all local travels.
• Making sure the vehicle in use is in clean, roadworthy and all regulations valid.
• Assist in the application of the process of work permits and collection of report orders for all expatriates.
• Provide general support to visitors.
