Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to join our team. The Health and Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for employees and compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in health and safety, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
2. Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Provide training and education to employees on health and safety practices.
4. Investigate accidents and incidents and develop and implement corrective actions.
5. Maintain and update records and reports related to health and safety.
6. Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
7. Stay current with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

Competencies
1. Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in health and safety.
3. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards.
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY QUALITIES
1. Grade 12 certificate
2. Bachelors Degree
3. Common knowledge of building materials (Tiles)
4. 2 years of related work experience
