JOB DETAILS:
Pridegems Mines Limited, an Emerald mining industry situated in Lufwanyama, Copperbelt, is seeking for a qualified and experienced Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our vibrant and goal-oriented team. If you are a skilled professional with a passion for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, we want to hear from you!

Qualifications:
• Full Grade Twelve School Certificate
• Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Heavy Equipment Mechanics.
• Must be above 25 years old.
• Possession of a valid silicosis certificate.
• Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia
• Minimum of 3 years mining experience
• Must have a valid Driver’s License
• Proven experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.

Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues on heavy-duty equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various mining machinery.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to optimize equipment performance.

Requirements
• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Willingness to work off-site as required

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
