Job Summary
The Human Resources Officer Job is a Full-time position based in the Lusaka Office. He/She will assist in carrying out the day to day operations human resources function and duties. The Officer shall carry out responsibilities in some or all areas: Recruitment and Selection, Record Keeping, Induction, training and development, benefits and compensation etc. .
Responsibility of Job
• Assist in the local recruitment, Induction, training and development, performance management, staff compensation and benefits and termination related formalities to ensure the employees meet business needs and organization is fully aligned with legal requirements.
• Assist in revision, development and implementation of TopStar Communications Limited HR Policies.
• Draft offer letters and contracts for all new hires and update all employee information in the company system.
• Management of employee daily attendance.
• Create a positive corporate culture.
• Organize the activities regularly
• Employee data management: sort and keep all employee data including personal information, labor contract, performance evaluation records, ensure the accurate and authenticity of the personnel files.
• Management of fixed asset & equipment maintenance, ensure the record accuracy and generation asserts report in time.
• Manage employee annual leave.
• Responsible for office leasing and management, ensure the safety, clean and tidy of the office environment.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements
• Full grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum Diploma in Human Resources management or any related Business field, a degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience practising Human Resources
• Registered and paid up Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resources (ZIHRM)
• Understanding of Zambian Labour Laws and Disciplinary procedure
• Strong computer skills including, Excel and MS Word.
• Outstanding Organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong Ethics and Reliability
• Fluency in (written and verbal) English is essential
• Highly organized, self-motivated, honest, ability to work under pressure and privatize tasks
• Willing to learn and grow with the organization
• Detail Oriented
