Job Description

• Coordinate and provide support to ICT startups, lead the growth of the Rwandan startup ecosystem
  
• Serve as the principal liaison between the business incubators and RISA
  
• Assist in coordinating activities between all stakeholders including the academia, private sector, venture capital, private equity, and other sources of funding
  
• Assist in developing training materials and delivering training for entrepreneurs and startups
  
• Monitor and participate in the delivery of training and mentoring sessions to entrepreneurs
  
• Review the business expansion plans and provide comments and guidance to entrepreneurs though the implementing partners
  
• Supervise and monitor the progression of activities, and assist entrepreneurs in implementing their business expansion plans
  
• Liaise with the entrepreneurs and make sure that support services are timely and effective”
  

Job Profile

A0 in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication

Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering . Previous experience in Curriculum Development and IT Capacity Building is an added advantage

Key Technical Skills & Knowledge required :

• Strong Leadership Skills
  
• Familiar with a variety of the ICT field technologies and trends
  
• Proven work experience as a training manager
  
• Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on the job or in classroom training, e learning, workshops, simulations etc)
  
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
  
• Good command of oral language skills and writing abillity
  
• Good interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with others under pressure and solve problems
