JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of the Job
Responsible for maintaining and supporting our applications, ensuring their security, providing database support and aid in developing new ones.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Application Maintenance and Support: As an Application Support Specialist, you will provide ongoing support for our applications. This includes troubleshooting issues, implementing fixes, and performing regular updates and upgrades. Your goal is to ensure the applications remain current, effective, and provide the best possible user experience.
2. Database Administration: You will manage and maintain MySQL and MSSQL databases. This involves managing data, performing backups, and ensuring data integrity. Your expertise in database administration will help us ensure that our data is secure, reliable, and accessible.
3. Website & Mobile App Support: You will provide support for our website and mobile applications. This includes monitoring performance, addressing user issues, and working with the development team to implement improvements. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our digital platforms are running smoothly and efficiently.
4. Application Security Monitoring: You will implement and maintain security measures to protect our applications from threats. This includes regularly reviewing and updating security protocols as needed. Your vigilance in monitoring application security will help us protect our digital assets and user data.
5. API Development and Maintenance: You will develop and maintain APIs for our applications. This involves ensuring the APIs are effectively integrated and meet the needs of the users. Your skills in API development will help us improve the functionality and interoperability of our applications.
6. Proven Programming Track Record: You will demonstrate a strong track record in programming, with the ability to write clean, efficient code in PHP, JavaScript, React, etc. Your proven programming skills will be invaluable in maintaining and improving our applications.

Professional Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and MSSQL databases.
• Experience in API development and maintenance.
• Understanding of application security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
