IT Technical Sales Engineer
Overview
MS Carbon Zambia Ltd is looking for a suitably qualified individual who will be able to promote organizational excellence, for the below mentioned position.
Position: IT Technical Sales Engineer
Job Intent: To ensure effective support for all MS Carbon clients through accurate inspection and forecast with a view to increase/have sustained repeat business
Reports To: General Manager

Key Responsibilities
• Working with existing customers to help them get the most out of our products.
• Providing sales support during virtual and onsite client meetings.
• Preparing bidding documents and attending bid submission meetings.
• Sourcing for Products and preparing quotations for clients.
• Making installations of new systems for clients
• Managing contracts and Service Level agreements Clients
• Identifying the customer’s current and future requirements.
• Reviewing customer drawings, plans and other documents in order to prepare detailed technical proposals
• Preparing reports for Management.
• Conveying solution benefits to both business and technical audiences.
• Demonstrating products, services and solutions to potential clients.
• Preparing and presenting potential cost benefit analysis to potential clients.
• Delivering presentations and demos to audiences.
• Conducting product training and Offering after-sales support services.
• Conveying customer requirements to the local and external Engineering teams.
• Maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers.
• Travelling to visit potential clients and sourcing for new business.
• Negotiating tender, contract terms and conditions.
• Maintaining professional working contact with key suppliers and third parties.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Must have a full Grade 12 certificate
• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology from a recognized institution.
• 3 years minimum experience in sales
• 5 years minimum experience in handling IT hardware and software systems.
• Experience with mining operations and processes.
• Member of Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) or ICTAZ
• 5 years driving experience

Level of Education: Associate Degree
