INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGER

To manage the bank’s information security architecture design process.
• To manage the development and implementation information security policies and procedures.
• To manage the creation and maintenance the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.
• To manage disaster recovery process and ensure critical systems have backup and that recovery systems are functioning well.
• To manage the creation and maintenance of information security awareness training program.
• To manage the creation and maintenance information security documents such as policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures etc.
• To manage the process of acquiring additional information security solutions or enhancements to existing information security solutions to improve overall information security.
• To manage the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through bank servers, routers and other systems and in databases and other data repositories.
• Enforcement of information security policies.
• To manage the deployment and maintenance of system and monitoring mechanisms that rapidly detect and block any information security intrusions.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessment of all IT systems and processes and make recommendations to management.
• Manage increase of file system volumes as required and perform preventive measures on bank servers to prevent possible future problems.
• Develop Information security policy when needed.
• Systems performance management.
• Supervise all investigations into problematic activity and provide on-going communication with senior management.
• Supervise the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits and monitor the implementation of recommendations.
• To manage and maintain an IT security register.
• Other IT security related issues as may be directed by management.
• -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Telecommunication.
• -CCSP certification and UNIX/Linux certifications will be added an added advantage.
• -Experience of 5 years in developing Business Continuity Plans and Disaster Recovery Plans.
• -System security and IT audit.
• -Knowledge on Internet services such as DNS, email services, monitoring tools.
• -Knowledge on TCP/IP model.
