JOB DETAILS:
Reporting to: Chief Risk & Compliance Officer

Job Purpose
The role will ensure compliance and assurance with corporate security standards and industry best practices and manage continuous internal assurance programs which includes mobile and web application security. The role will also manage information security, internal and external cyber security risk assessments and provide technical security solutions which compliments customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
• To provide continuous web and mobile-based application security assurance.
• To proactively redefine cyber security assessment methodologies and criteria in order to assess the cyber security and provide solutions in a constantly changing financial technologies business environment.
• To provide continuous review of policies, procedures, settings and configurations in order to promote information security and protection of information assets.
• To perform system integration testing (SIT) and review user acceptance testing (UAT) before any systems or enhancement deployments
• To provide continuous third-party security assurance by ensuring compliance to established security frameworks and procedures.
• To provide assurance checks in order to verify security design, architecture and business requirements are in place before production implementation takes place.
• To prevent revenue loss arising for compromise in cyber security, information security or other related controls
• To perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer

Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business and finance or related fields.
• Preferably 3-5 years’ experience in cyber security or information security or internal assurance
• Certifications in cyber security, internal assurance, compliance or risk management will be an added advantage
• Strong understanding of the payment systems industry
• Strong risk management principles, methodologies and tools, governance principles preferably in a financial services technology environment
• Good understanding of sandbox guidelines issued by the Bank of Zambia
• Good understanding of block chain technology and crypto currencies operations
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn the business needs, processes, software, and systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational and presentation skills
• Excellent written, verbal communications skills and the ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations
