ASA Microfinance Zambia Limited is a non-deposit taking microfinance institution limited by shares incorporated on 22 d August 2014. The company aims at empowering the poor Zambians for the improvement of their socio-economic condition and reduced poverty by the sustainable microfinance program. The company is a subsidiary of ASA international group plc enlisted (premier) in London Stock Exchange. With over 3000 branches in Asia and Africa combined, ASA International has taken keen interest in opening several more branches in Zambia hence the need for an Internal Audit Assistant for the purpose of all internal auditing of the Company. .

Job Description/Responsibilities
• To assist with finalization of the audit reports and deliver to the respective management.
• To ensure timely execution of the field audit work and exit meeting with the auditees.
• To assist in the execution of branch audit and Head office audit as a 3rd line of defense.
• Perform auditing of operations and applies internal audit standards in conducting work.
• As the Internal Audit Assistant, you will closely work with branch managers and report directly to the head of internal audit.
• Must be willing to travel outside of Lusaka and monitor Branch Offices located in the country (at least 15 days in a month).
• Must possess team spirit, leadership quality and strong analytical skills.
• 70% of your time will be spent outside the office, doing branch audit.

Qualifications
• Preferably ACCA skilled level or ZICA licentiate level
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in internal Audit, Statutory audit or as an accountant.
• Maximum age of applicant is 30 years.
• Salary will be under company salary structure and other benefits like bonuses will be as per company policy.
• Salary ZMW 4,000 – 4,500.
• 25% gratuity as company policy
• 10% increment as per company salary scale
• 2-year Contract renewable as per performance • Location; Lusaka
