Job Profile

• Prepare NIRDA's internal annual audit plan, consulting the various units, and ensuring timely approval by audit committee and submission to the line ministry.
  
• Carry out monthly and annual financial reviews. Provide audit reports to the Director General.
  
• Advise the institution on the appropriateness of accounting records and financial reporting.
  
• Provide advisory services for solutions to financial and internal controls.
  
• Identify and evaluate the entity risks in all auditable areas.
  
• Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations, reviewing management response to internal and external audit reports.
  
• Prepare a consolidated Quarterly Internal Audit Report (QIAR) submitted to the audit committee.
  
• Prepare Internal Audit annual report to be presented to the Board.
