JOB DETAILS:
1.0 Job Purpose
To evaluate the Company’s Information Technology (IT) systems to ensure they are effective, efficient and compliant with relevant laws and regulations

• 2.0 Job Accountabilities
To conduct Audits of IT systems, networks and applications risks and controls related to data security and privacy
To evaluate the effectiveness of IT Governance and management processes
• To review compliance with IT-related laws and regulations
• Te identify and report on control weaknesses and potential vulnerabilities
• To provide recommendations for improvement and remediation
To collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to implement sodit recommendations.
To stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in IT diting
To undertake effectively the development, review and implementation of the Aud Charter and manual to comply with professional standards
To undertake effectively the preparation and implementation of the annual audit plan to guide the audit assignments.
• To undertake effectively the examination and evaluation of management controls and governance system to ensure their effectiveness and facilitate management and Board decisions.
• To undertake effectively the evaluation and review of risk management interventions to ensure their adequacy and corrective measures.
• To undertake timely provision of internal audit reports on the effectiveness of internal controls to External Auditors to determine the levels of their substantive test.
To undertake periodically the preparation of internal audit reports to facilitate management and policy decisions.

• Qualifications and experience
Full Form V/Grade 12 School Certificate with at least five (05) credits including English and Mathematics
Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information Systems
Professional Certifications such as Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
Paid-up member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
Knowledge of risk management principles and practices
Four (4) Years’ Experience
Skills, Knowledge and Other Attributes
Problem-solving and analytical skills;
Ability to cope with high levels of responsibility, integrity and confidential matters.
Must be assertive, high ethical standards, respectful, objective, innovative and collaborative;
Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail; and
Must have good leadership and interpersonal skills
