JOB DETAILS:
Emerged Railways Properties (Pvt) Limited seeks to recruit an energetic and vibrant individual for the position of Investment and Property Manager to be based in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. .
Key Responsibilities;
Reporting to the Board the incumbent shall be expected to:
• Spearhead and manage the company's investment drive by, inter alia, scouting for, evaluating and recommending investment opportunities for the company to the board.
• Monitor and ensure compliance of various contracts with various stakeholders in line with statutory requirements and produce compliance and related reports quarterly.
• Monitor, control and coordinate the tolling and use of the Victoria Falls Bridge by various authorized users and interface with state security services and contractors working on the bridge.
• Monitor and superintend over the company's investment portfolio including all approved property developments and ensure compliance with the provisions of the agreed contracts, statutory, and regulatory requirements,
• Prepare and submit short, medium and long term plans and budgets to the Board for approval
• Ensure that the books and finances of the Company are prepared and managed in accordance with international accounting standards and best practice.
• Monitor the condition and use of the bridge (including signage on the approaches thereto) and other assets of the company and ensure that they are in a good state of repair and of sound structural
• Maintain an up to date database of the Company's inventory/assets and recommend replenishment or disposal of the same when need arises.
• Perform such other related duties as may be assigned by the Boarder from time to time.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Must have 5 years’ experience at Senior Management level
• A member of a relevant professional body
• A self-starter with lots of initiative and administrative expertise
• Capable of working under minimal supervision
• Confident and eloquent in his/her presentation of issues.
• High interpersonal skills and relationship management
ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
• Have a Degree in Administration, Business Studies, Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
• .Be computer literate clean class 4 drivers' license .
• Have a valid passport
• Must be a Zambian citizen
• Candidates with an additional degree in project management or equivalent will have an added advantage
