The Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency has received financing from the Government of the Republic of Zambia and intends to apply these funds towards financing payments under the Contract for Supply and Delivery of General Laboratory Commodities and Reagents.
Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency now invites bidders to tender for the Supply and Delivery of General Laboratory Consumables and Reagents for three years.
Bidding will be conducted through the Open National Bidding Method of Procurement in accordance with Section 39 of the Public Procurement Act No.8 of 2020 as amended by the Public Procurement (Amendment) Act No. 17 of 2023 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2022 (Statutory Instrument No.30 of 2022).
A Bidder that is under a declaration of ineligibility by ZPPA is NOT eligible to participate.
The Evaluations under this Tender shall take into account Preliminary, Technical, Commercial, Financial Evaluation and Price Reasonableness Analysis. Further, this is a primary stage and all shortlisted bidders will be subjected to a mini competition by submitting quotations in respective category's and lots.
The Tender shall be evaluated lot by lot.
Bidding shall be conducted through the Electronic Government Procurement Platform (e-GP) system.
Bidding documents may be purchased from the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) e-GP Platform at a non-refundable fee of ZMW1000.
The bids shall be submitted through the Electronic Government Procurement System on or before 21" June, 2024.
The Tender document in English may be obtained by logging in via the ZPPA e-GP Website at https://eprocure.zppa.org.zm.
The deadline for clarifications shall be Wednesday, 12 June, 2024.
Bids will be opened at 10:30 hours' system time.
The bid must be accompanied by a bid Securing declaration.
