The Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts in Eastern Province, Chipata has received funds from the Government of the Republic of Zambia under Youth Empowerment Programme and intends to purchase One Hundred and Twenty (120No.) Motor Bikes, and Two Hundred and Forty (240No.) Helmets.

The Provincial Administration, Eastern Province, on behalf of the Department of Youth Development, now invites sealed bids from eligible and interested suppliers to participate in the supply and delivery of One Hundred and Twenty (120No.) Motor Bikes and Two Hundred and Forty (240No.) Helmets.
Bidding will be conducted through Open National Bidding (ONB) procedures consistent with the Public Procurement Act No.8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2022.

A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K500.00 or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency.
Bids should be sent clearly marked "Tender for the Supply and Delivery of One Hundred and Twenty (120No.) x Motor Bikes for the Department of Youth Development in Chipata District of Eastern Province." addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Provincial Administration, PO Box 510019, Chipata and must be sent not later than Thursday, 16" February, 2023 at 10:00 hours local time.
Submission procedure
Bids must be deposited in the Tender Box at the Provincial Administration, Eastern Province, on or before Thursday, 16 February 2023 at 10:00 hours local time.
The closing date for the receipt of bids is Thursday, 16" February 2023 at 10:00 hours local time and any bid received after the time and date stipulated above will not be accepted. The bids will be opened soon after closing in the Conference Room, in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
A Bid Securing Declaration or a Bid security of 2% of the total bid sum must be submitted together with the Bid document on or before the closing date.
LATE BIDS SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
