The Church on behalf of its membership, is desirous to engage eligible and qualified bidders registered with the National Council for Construction (NCC) in the Category B, Grades 1-4 for the construction of the proposed Boarding House 2. Scope of Project

The general scope of project, situated in Handsworth area in Lusaka city, involves construction of 8 by 3-bedroom single storey flats with provision for expansion to double storey in later phase of the project. All amenities, such as sewer, water e.t.c., needed for boarding housing are included.

3. Qualifications and Requirements

The following qualifications are required from the prospective contractors:

a) Company profile indicating names of directors and physical address of business and showing compliance with a ZRA valid Tax Clearance Certificate, Certificate of Registration/Incorporation, valid Workers' Compensation Certificate, and all statutory documents from NAPSA.

b) NCC Grades 1-4

c) Relevant experience and technical capacity.

d) Latest Audited Financial statements for 3 years

e) Latest bank statement for the last 3 months

f) Technical Staff experience and availability of not less than 5 years for Construction Manager/Project Engineer and 3 years for the Trade Foremen.

g) Traceable References of similar works with completion certificates.

h) Valid EIZ Registration Certificate

i) Valid Public Liability Policy Certificate

Submission Procedure

The Church now invites eligible bidders/contractors to submit their EOI in sealed envelopes, clearly marked "Expression of interest (EOI) for construction of Boarding Houses in Lusaka City, Lusaka Province". Expression of Interest shall be deposited in the Tender Box to the address stated below on or before Friday, April 14, 2023, at 10:30hrs
