In order to accomplish its mission, Skol Brewery Ltd is looking for a qualified and committed individual to join its team in the following position:

Job Title: Lab Technician

JOB SUMMARY

The jobholder complete day-to-day experiments and tests of the laboratory as well as collecting and recording data obtained. These tests involve all parts of the production process and require general microbiology, organic chemistry, and brewing knowledge and experience.

KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as Lab Technician or relevant position (able to analyze chemical test results and give recommendations, know how to handle some basic tests…)
  
• Ability to carry out detailed experiments with exactness
  
• Understand the process of transformation of materials under “pressure” “heat” “cold” etc.
  
• Building solid working relationships with other quality assurance team
  
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
  
• Computer literacy in the Microsoft Office
  
• Dynamism, creativity, flexibility
  
• Hold a degree in chemistry or biology
  
• Having at least 2 years of professional experience in the agro-food institution
  
• Fluent in English and/or French
