i4Life was founded in 2009 by like-minded volunteer health professionals who came together in order to establish a sustainable partnership with our health professional colleagues in Zambia. i4Lifes Vision is to achieve a sustainable and healthy future for children under five by reducing disease and malnutrition. The vision is achieved by providing educational expertise through the deployment of international and local child health specialist teams in co-operation with local communities and organisations through a cascade mentorship model. We provide support, training and volunteers to existing charities in both development and emergency situations. This cascade model of education and mentorship has enabled mutual learning and participation between international health professionals and has benefited health systems both in the Global South and North. In particular Zambia, Liberia, Uganda and Ireland.
Lead Administrator i4Life, Linda Compound (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
This position shall provide overall leadership and management in i4Life‘s administration and HR department.
• Supervising the day-to-day operations of the administrative department and staff members.
• Human resources including managing and supervising the organization’s hiring process, from recruiting, interviewing, hiring new staff and police vetting. Taking corrective action when necessary. Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures
• Build i4Life stakeholder relations, improve employee engagement, and build strategic talent resources plans. Measurement and appraisal of work force performance, implementation of reward systems for employees, professional development of workers, and maintenance of work force. Coordinate logistics in relation to training of staff and CHW’s.
• To provide a multidisciplinary approach to the coordination, planning, and monitoring of multiple projects.
• Co-ordinate at sector level with the HCPZ, District, adherence to Zambian Guidelines in implementation of policy including monthly statistics and overall implementation of the project’s components.
• Nurture a sustainable partnership with clinical supervisor, project manager, and key stakeholders
• Develop and plan annual organisational action plan, and co-ordinate strategic planning meetings
• Attend and record minutes of all management meetings
• Annual audit to include needs assessment to be carried of nutrition clinic .
• Organise scheduled and emergency MDT , staff, clinical meetings
• Ensure all requirements by policy are implemented including police vetting of i4Life Clinic staff, i4Life CHWs.
• All records and administration policys are filed in order and are easily accessible.
• Able to multitask, pay attention to detail and prioritize
• Team building and interpersonal skills

Your Profile
• Degree in a relevant field in community based natural resource management or the equivalent
• At least 5 years’ previous experience related to HR and administration, with experience working on medium-scale donor funded projects, in resource-constrained settings
• Written and spoken English, including report writing
• Excellent oral communication, including presentations and the sharing of project results and learnings
