Job Summary:
• The Lecturer in Fisheries will be responsible for teaching courses related to fish biology, aquatic ecosystems, and sustainable fisheries management at Lusaka Urban University. The role includes conducting research, developing course materials, and providing practical training.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fisheries science and aquatic biology.
Develop and revise course materials, including lectures, lab sessions, and fieldwork.
Conduct research on fish biology, aquaculture practices, and fisheries management.
Supervise student research projects and theses.
Publish research results in academic journals and present at relevant conferences.
Engage with industry stakeholders, government agencies, and NGOs on fisheries-related projects.
Participate in departmental and university committees.

Qualifications:
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Fisheries Science, Aquatic Biology, or a related field.
Experience in teaching and research in fisheries or aquatic sciences.
Demonstrated research output with publications in relevant journals.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with students and external partners.
