JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose-Librarian
• Responsible for coordination, development and management of specialized services, projects, programmes, and policies for effective and efficient running of the School Library.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participating in the formulation/review of policies and preparation/review of work manuals and procedures and related documents;
• Participating in strategic planning and priority setting; provides leadership in developing a broad range of activities including budgeting needs of the libraries;
• Designing information literacy programmes for students; Promoting the use of information and communications technologies as an information resource;
• Collaborating with librarians, faculty and other partners to develop, deliver, integrate and assess the impact of library services and resources;
• Serving as an information consultant in specialized areas of library and information science;
• Participating in the preparation of statistical, quarterly and annual operational performance reports.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Grade 12 Certificate or its equivalent,
• Must have a minimum of a diploma in Library and information science or related fields a degree is an added advantage
• Bachelor of Library and Information Science or related field
• Must be Computer Literate,
• Being a member of the Library Information Association of Zambia (LIAZ) is an added advantage “Creating the Future Today”

Head Driver:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
• Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date.
• Carry out minor repairs to Institutional Vehicles.

Minimum Requirements:
• PSV Driver’s License class CE
• Craft certificate in Mechanics on Heavy vehicles added advantage
• Clean Driver’s license
