JOB DETAILS:
Employment Opportunity
• A reputable Catering Company in the Hospitality Industry is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to be responsible for controlling the installation, repair and upkeep of the entire unit and offices, including all equipment in the production unit. The incumbent will also be responsible for the maintenance of vehicles for the Company.

Key responsibilities:
• Manages maintenance schedules and budgets.
• Puts in a place a Maintenance Request Procedure
• Compiles and implements an effective Planned Maintenance Schedule
• Issues Job Card Numbers for each request
• Follows up on each job card
• Ensures that each job card is closed off timeously
• Delivers planned and property maintenance
• Manages the maintenance supervisor and maintenance assistants
• Plans, directs and controlls the efforts of the Maintenance Team.
• Ensures that all equipment is in safe working order in line with current regulations.
• Ensures that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
• Checks all electrical units.
• Runs an efficient repair reporting system.
• Responds quickly to any emergencies.
• Runs a preventive maintenance program that will minimize service repairs in the long run.
• Creates a contractor database.
• Manages the full process of start and completion of contractors on site.
• Ensures that the final invoices match the approved quote
• Makes recommendations for continual improvement and support improvement initiatives the company undertakes.

Minimum Academic Qualifications
• Grade 12
• Engineering Diploma
• Fully competent in Microsoft Office, Excel

Minimum Required Experience
5 Years’ Experience in a similar field
