JOB DETAILS:
The maintenance coordinator is responsible for planning, organising and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance activities within the company using a maintenance planning software. He must be able to manage a team of maintenance technicians and ensure that equipment, the fleet, and installations are in good working order.

Key Responsibilities
• Manages maintenance schedules and budgets.
• Puts in place maintenance request procedures.
• Issues Job Card Numbers for each request and following up on each job card.
• Ensures that each job card is closed off in a timely manner.
• Ensures that all electrical and electronic equipment are in safe working order in line with current regulations. Checks on all electrical units.
• Ensures that all certificates of compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant legislation.
• Designs maintenance programs and runs an efficient repair reporting system.
Runs a preventive maintenance program that will minimize service repairs in the long run.
Records daily maintenance activity.
• Monitors and supervises routine preventative maintenance, unplanned remedial, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance requirements.
• Timely ordering and maintenance of inventory of all site supplies, tools, and equipment necessary for the maintenance of the facilities.
• Keeps good general appearance of the grounds and buildings.
• Regularly reports and keeps the Company Representatives informed on the condition of all facilities, equipment, and municipal components.
• Prepares and submits various daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports.
• Creates a contractor database. Managing the full process of start to completion of contractors on site.
• Makes recommendations for continual improvement and support improvement initiatives that the company undertakes.
• Observes all safety rules and procedures.
Ensures that all equipment and materials are not left in dangerous state.
• Ensures all QHSE rules & procedures are followed, and hazards/near miss and accidents are properly reported.
• Raises any work-safety hazard when participating in HSE meetings or Risk Assessment.
• Any other related jobs/tasks that may be assigned by management from time to time.

Minimum Academic Qualifications
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma in Engineering or related field
• Written and Oral communication
• People and Time management
• Multi-tasking skills.
• Good knowledge of Production machinery, engineering drawings, utility knowhow.
• Food experience, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma training is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High energy, positive, enthusiastic, results- oriented.
• Technically competent in Computers, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Preventive Maintenance, Design and Troubleshooting
• Being adaptable and self-driven.
• Project management and prioritizing.
• Preparing work schedules.
• Recording and reporting.
• Conducting organizational and administrative duties.
• Communicating effectively in written and oral form.

Minimum Required Experience
• 4 Years’ Experience in a similar field

Level of Education:
Postgraduate Degree
