JOB DETAILS:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE;
• Monitor, forecast and coordinate the scheduling of maintenance requirements on aircraft.
• Provides 7-day, 30-day, 60-day, and annual maintenance forecasts to the Manager of Planning and applicable management personnel as required.
• Ensure quick response time and delivery for any modified planning requirements due to additional work scope, engineering changes and/or miscalculated or shop and planning errors.
• Effectively and efficiently, utilizing company computer systems to identify maintenance aircraft requirements and assigned/capable overnight stations ensuring the timely compliance.
• Monitor aircraft status and coordinate routing/rerouting aircraft to facilitate any operational irregularities while maintaining the integrity of the maintenance plan and established company performance objectives.
• Coordinate and communicate all “day of” operational changes affecting the maintenance plan, resolve conflicts between the maintenance and the daily operational schedules.
• Create, review, and execute daily work orders to the required maintenance bases.
• Provides daily turnover communication to fellow team members of critical tasks and items of importance affecting the operation.
• Ensures compliance with all specified policies, practices, and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE;
• Certificate in Maintenance Planning Principles.
• Good Knowledge of Zambia Civil Aviation Regulations.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Airline operations.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS;
Demonstrate Competence with the following:
• Microsoft Excel.
• AMP data platform and the following Publications:
• Aircraft Maintenance Publication Packages
• Minimum Equipment List Documents (MEL, MMEL, MELP)
• Published Airworthiness Directives applicable for incorporation.
• MPM, MCM and all appropriate Company Manuals.
• ZCAA ZCARS and Implementing Standards for Planning and Librarian functions.
• Must have good communication skills to liaise with other Team Members.
• Must be Computer literate.
