JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of the Job
The position is responsible for the Bank's defense against cyber threats including establishing, managing, and monitoring the IBP information security programme. In addition, the job holder works closely with various departments, ensuring that IBP security measures align with industry standards and regulations, protecting oth customer data and the Bank's reputation.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement a strategic information security roadmap in alignment with the Bank's objectives and industry standards.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the information security team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Policy Development & Compliance
• Develop and maintain the Bank's information security policy, standards, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements regarding information security and privacy

Risk Management
• Lead risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify vulnerabilities and security gaps.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and oversee their implementation to safeguard the Bank's information assets.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage crisis communication and recovery procedures.

Training of Stakeholders
• Cultivate a strong level of awareness and commitment to cyber resilience by conducting comprehensive cyber and information risk awareness training programmes for its members of staff and other stakeholders.

Incident Management
• Develop and lead a robust incident response plan. ensuring swift and effective action in the event of a security breach

Stakeholder Engagement
• Engage with stakeholders across the organisation, including the Board of Directors, to communicate the Banks information security vision, strategies, and performance
• Establish and maintain relationships with external stakeholders such as law enforcement agencies, industry groups, and other financial institutions. Professional Development
• Keep abreast of the latest developments in information security, including emerging threats and best practices. Foster a culture of learning and development within the information security team.

Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 Certificate with 'Credit or better in Mathematics and English.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology. or any related field.
• Master's Degree would be highly advantageous.
• 5-7 years of experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Must be a member of the Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia (CTAZ).
