JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
Manager Internal Audit-G3x1
To provide high quality internal audit management services to the Company at a strategic level which meets recognised international standards byexamining and evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control systems, procedures and recommending corrective action to improve operations and enhance internal controls.

Duties and Responsibilities
i. Prepares a risk based annual audit plan to be presented to the Audit Committee of Board of Directors for review and approval.
ii. Undertakes effective development, review and implementation of Internal Audit Policies, Procedures and systems in order to comply with professional standards.
iii. Appropriately defines the audit scope, objectives and approach for each assignment with focus on key and significant risks for the company.
iv. Monitors effective implementation of the annual audit plan in order to guide the audit assignments.
v. Ensures that the Company has adequate control systems, policies and procedures that will meet interests of all stakeholders.
vi. Overseas the execution of planned and specialized audit assignments in order to ensure achievement of intended objectives.
vii. To submit audit reports that are timely, factual and conscience for effective decision making.
viii. Supervises audit staff in gathering audit evidence, reviewing documents, developing and administering survey, reviewing audit papers to gather sufficient and relevant evidence.

ix. Monitors effective implementation of Auditbrecommendations, including re-performing procedures to validate remedial action.
x. To undertake such other related tasks and responsibilities as the Managing Director or the Audit Committee of the Board may from time to time deem necessary and appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience
i. Full grade 12 School Certificate.
ii. Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent. Professional qualification such ACCA, CIMA, CA, CIA or equivalent.
iii.Master Degree in Finance, Accountancy or related field will be added advantage.
iv. Member of Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) and/or ZICA.
v. At least eight (8) years relevant experience with not less than five (05) years at senior management level in a reputable organization.
