JOB DETAILS:

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Officer. Our expectation is that the Marketing Officer will be involved in all kinds of marketing, networking and social media.

DUTIES
• Analyze target market for the hotel.
• Oversee distribution of marketing materials.
• Reach out to organizations and businesses that might require a hotel for conferences and events.
• Meet with representatives from different organizations to explain the hotel’s merits and amenities.
• Network with wedding planners and special event planners to encourage hotel bookings.
• Design and advertise special group rates and packages to increase larger bookings.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat and recurring business.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Demonstrate ability to think creatively and analytically.
• Capable of creating and maintaining a large client network.
• Communicate clearly and effectively.
• Familiar with the workings of the hotel and hospitality industry.
• Demonstrate strong persuasive and negotiation skills.

Education and Experience
• Diploma in Sale and Marketing or a related field
• Minimum Two years of experience in sales and marketing sector, preferably in the hospitality section.
• Good computer stills
• Driving License
