JOB DETAILS:
Department: Proudly Zambian Campaign
Title: Membership and Communications Intern
Reporting to: Project Coordinator
Period: Three (3) months
Location: Lusaka About the Proudly Zambian Campaign

The Proudly Zambian Campaign (PZC) was initiated in 2004 by the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry (MCTI) in the quest to promote the production and consumption of high-quality Zambian-made products. The Zambia Association of Manufacturers (ZAM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with MCTI in 2018 which made ZAM the sole issuer of the official PZC logo and ‘Proudly Zambian’ trademark. Therefore, the Campaign is implemented and managed by ZAM.

Principle Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for:
• Policy analysis and research
• Membership database management
• Record keeping
• Membership recruitment and retention
• Communicating PZC activities to members and potential members
• Publishing success stories on the ZAM Website and other appropriate platforms
• Taking minutes for PZC and PZC related meetings
• PZC catalogue updating.
• Generating monthly reports
Other responsibilities
The intern will assist the Project Coordinator in:
• Resource mobilisation
• Marketing PZC
• Drafting concept notes for PZC activities

Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in business and social sciences

Working hours
Monday to Friday: 08:00hrs to 17:00hrs
Saturday, Sunday and Public holidays: off
However, you may be expected to work beyond the prescribed hours and days if need be.
Remuneration: A competitive internship allowance will be provided.
