Role Description
• This is a full-time Mining Engineer role for TAURO MINING , Kitwe. The Mining Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mining systems, evaluating mining methods, and ensuring safe and efficient mining operations. The role will also oversee the construction and maintenance of mine infrastructures, as well as managing a team of mining professionals.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Mining Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in underground mining operations, mine design and planning, and project management
• Membership of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ)
• Proficiency in mine planning software such as Surpac, Micromine, MineSight, and AutoCAD
• Valid Silicosis Certificate
• Excellent knowledge of mining legislation and regulations
• Strong leadership and management skills with experience in leading a team
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
