Civic Forum on Housing and Habitat Zambia (CFHHZ) is a national platform of Civil Society Organisations (CSO’s) and community-based organizations (CBO’s) dealing in housing and human settlements in Zambia. The platform offers members an opportunity for dialogue and identification of practical solutions in responding to an array of housing challenges that communities and marginalised communities encounter ranging from policy, housing infrastructure and access support services.
CFHHZ in collaboration with We Effect is looking for competent individuals to fill the positions of Project Coordinator, Finance and Administration Officer, Finance Assistant and Monitoring and Evaluations Officer for the anticipated EU funding on Lusaka Transmission Distribution Rehabilitation Project (LTDRP) – Low voltage Distribution Network: Women Empowerment and Micro Small Enterprises Support. The project is aimed at building resilient and profitable businesses able to use electricity and owned by women and youth and the Right to Adequate Housing Programme.
MONITORING AND EVALUATIONS OFFICER X1– Right to Adequate Housing Programme The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be reporting to the Executive Director. S/he will be responsible for setting up clear monitoring and evaluations system which will help monitor achievements made in all programme areas. Tasks include ensuring program quality and that all interventions are monitored and evaluated according to benchmarks or targets as set by the organisation. .
Major responsibilities will include:
a) Development of monitoring tools and methodologies to monitor programme achievements against programme objectives.
b) Conducting project risk analysis and development of response mechanisms accompanied with a clear monitoring and evaluation plan.
c) Capacity building of Community Based Organisation’s (CBOs) on M&E system management and implementation.
d) Networking with CFHHZ members and sharing key lessons on programme identified gaps and jointly generate corrective actions.
e) Reporting and sharing of data from Monitoring, learning and evaluation exercises.

Job Requirements
a) Bachelor’s Degree in Demography, Developmental Studies and any other Social Sciences b) A master’s degree in this area will be an added advantage.
c) A Minimum of five (5) years in Monitoring and Evaluation.
d) Demonstrated experience in developmental work and good understanding of community mobilization.
e) Excellent interpersonal and Communications skills.
f) Solid understanding of data analysis packages and software (SPSS, Epi –info, Epi-data, CS-Pro).
g) Demonstrated understanding of the housing sector and the cooperatives movement.
