1. AIRCON TECHNICIAN X 1-LUMWANA SITE
Position Description
This position reports to the Workshop Supervisor. Successful candidate will be responsible for the below duties.
• Installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing air conditioners.
• Ventilating equipment and controls to ensure they operate efficiently and continuously.
• Performing regular maintenance work on cooling units.
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
• Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
• Maintains work schedule for assigned area of responsibility.
• Carries out preventive maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment and system.
• Ensure compliance by all subordinates to all Quality, Health & Safety standards on the mine as may be specified by legal and other associated requirements and providing periodic reports as and when required.
Follow up repair order, registering the time taken to complete each task.
Support and full comply with company and departmental policies and procedures.
• Track, analyse, and report on progress, trends, and issues, and recommend solutions and improvements.
Carry out other tasks or assignments as assigned by the supervisor or superiors.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
• Full Grade Twelve Certificate.
• Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ industrial Engineering.
• Two years experience in industrial aircon repair on heavy duty machines including heavy trucks and similar machines.
• Computer literate.
• Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia.

2. AUTO ELECTRICIAN X 1-LUMWANA SITE
Position Description
This position reports to the Workshop Supervisor. Successful candidate will be responsible for the below duties.
• Performing routine maintenance checks on earthmoving machines such as loaders, excavators, dump trucks etc. such checks including sensor failure tests, solenoid testing, wiring and electrical harness testing/ repair ECM testing, oil levels, temperature levels, greasing, picking out unusual noises etc.
• Carry out routine Engine, hydraulic, transmission, powertrain services at stipulated service hours/ intervals.
• Troubleshooting earthmoving equipment faults ranging from hydraulic, Engine, transmission, powertrain, electrical, etc.
• Repairing of identified faults in a timely and efficient manner ( This may or may not include installation of spare parts/ electrical components)
• Compiling reports about fleet faults, persistent faults as well as repairs successfully carried out.
• Do any additional tasks that are asked or needed to be completed.
• Ensure compliance by all subordinates to all Quality, Health & Safety standards on the mine as may be specified by legal and other associated requirements and providing periodic reports as and when required.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

• Two years experience in industrial aircon repair on heavy duty machines including heavy trucks and similar machines.
• Computer literate.
• Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia.

3. HER MECHANICS X 1-LUMWANA SITE

Position Description
This position reports to the Workshop Supervisor. Successful candidate will be responsible for the below duties.
• Inspecting trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment for proper performance.
• Diagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment.
• Adjusting equipment and replacing faulty parts.
• Repairing damaged equipment parts.
• Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty machines.
• Cleaning and servicing of machine attachments like winches, blades, and side booms.
• Performing major repair work when necessary.
• Consulting with other mechanics on smaller jobs.
• Reporting damaged or faulty equipment to Supervisor/ Management.
• Ensure compliance by all subordinates to all Quality, Health & Safety standards on the mine as may be specified by legal and other associated requirements and providing periodic reports as and when required.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
• Grade 12 certificate
• Craft Certificate in Heavy Equipment Repairer
• A Member of EIZ
• Two years experience in mechanical works on heavy duty machines including heavy trucks and similar machines.
• Computer literate.
• Strong technical competence.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
