JOB DETAILS:
Twalumba Resort & Hotels is a team of professionals dedicated to revamping the hospitality industry in Zambia. We are currently seeking 2 PROFESSIONAL CHEFS and 3 WAITERS to join our committed and hardworking team, providing enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and prompt service.

1. Professional Chefs X2
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications/qualities:

Responsibilities
– Preparing dishes from diverse international cuisines (e.g., Italian, Chinese, Indian etc.)
– Staying updated on food trends and incorporate seasonal ingredients.
– Ensure kitchen cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
– Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency

Qualifications
– Must have a minimum of 2 years Proven experience as a chef, preferably in international cuisine.
– Must have a certificate, diploma or better in food production.
– Must have a food handlers Certificate.
– Must have Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
– Knowledge in pastry will be an added advantage.
– Must be available to start work as soon as possible.

2. Waiters X3
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications/qualities:

Responsibilities
– Provide exceptional customer service
– Take orders and serve food and beverages
– Maintain knowledge of menu, drinks, and daily specials.
– Collaborate with kitchen staff.
– Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
– Handle customer complaints and resolve issues.

Qualifications
– Minimum 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry.
– Must have a certificate or better in General Hospitality, Food production or in any related field
– Preferably Male.
– Must be between the ages of 19 to 30.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Must be available to start work as soon as possible.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash.
– Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
– Must have Food Handlers Certificate.
