JOB DETAILS:
• Veritas General Insurance Plc (VGI) is a faith based General Insurance Company which has been in operation since 2015. The Company seeks to increase its foot prints country wide by having representation in the major towns of the country. VGI is now seeking to identify qualified individuals for the following positions.

1. Claims Manager (Lusaka) (Position) 1.
The Claims Manager shall be responsible for minimizing loss ratio by avoiding leakages whilst maintaining excellent claim service. The position will be based at Head office in Lusaka.

Main Duties will include the following;
• Handle claims in cost effective manner.
• Prompt registration of claims according to company guidelines and accurately set reserves upon receipt of notifications.
• Strictly adhere to customer service level agreements and company operational requirements.
• Keep clients regularly informed about the status of their claims ensuring transparency and timeliness.
• Resolve customer complaints timely and effectively.
• Ensure that repair costs align with repairer contracts and parts suppliers’ prices.
• Scrutinize claims thoroughly to ensure damages correspond to the circumstance of each loss.
• Participate in inspection and assessment of both motor and non-motor claims promptly.
• Maintain repairer relationships to ensure compliance with contract terms and agreed repair turnaround time.
• Ensure timely appointment of Loss Adjusters/Assessors.
• Secure and sell Salvages at reasonable prices, following policy guidelines.
• Ensure timely preparation of claims reports as required by management on weekly or monthly basis.
• Contribute to the settlement of litigation Claims within court orders.

Requirements.
Minimum Degree in Insurance & Pension Management/Risk Management/Business Administration /Economics/Accountancy or any other relevant qualifications.
• At least 5-7 years’ experience in a similar role with proven results.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literate in Microsoft word and excel.
• Self-motivated.
• Customer centric.
• Reliable and can work with minimum supervision.

2. Branch Manager (Ndola) (Position) 1
Main Duties will include the following;
• To oversee and manage the operations of the branch and ensure growth and profitability.
• Implementation of the company’s corporate business/Marketing strategy.
• Selling of Insurance policies to corporate and individual clients on behalf of Veritas General Insurance.
• Sourcing for new clients and developing Clientele base for growth and profitability in the region.
• Ensuring all claims reported are quickly processed and equitably settled within record time.
• liaising and accurately advising clients on all Insurance related matters.
• Notifying clients on all expiring policies in preparation for renewal.
• Performing administrative tasks for smooth operations of the branch.
• Identifying customer needs and providing advice to client on loss prevention and control.

Requirements.
Minimum Degree in Risk Management/Insurance & Pension Management/ Business Administration/Accountancy/ Economics and any other relevant qualifications.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role with prove results.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literate in Microsoft word and excel
• A vibrant candidate with a good network of business connection.
• Self-motivated and business out-going.
• Customer Centric, willing to go over and under for VGI customer.
• Passionately & empathetic service provider.
• Reliable, can work with minimum supervision.

3. Underwriting Assistant (Ndola) (position) 1
Key Qualifications, Skills, Qualified Competencies
• 5 O level credits including Mathematics and English.
• National Advanced Diploma in Insurance or Diploma in Insurance.
• Degree in Insurance & Pensions Mgt, Economics, Business Administration or Accountancy will be added advantage.
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Innovative.
• Proficient in Microsoft office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Etc.)

Main Duties
• Issuance of Insurance Documents such as Motor certificate, COMESA, Yellow cards, policy documents, and Territorial Extension Etc.
• Ensure processing of binders within 48hours
• Carry out risk surveys or inspection of comprehensive insured vehicles.
• Ensure instalment plans are signed up by all policy holders on payment plans.
• Ensure all policies requiring RI support are communicated to the Branch Manager/underwriter.
• Ensure collection of underwriting details from brokers.
• Respond to emails communication within 48 hours.
• Provide support to agents.
• Provide accurate KYC’s from customers.
• Respond to inter departmental queries within 24 hours.
• Ensure you meeting deadlines.
• Preparation of quotations.
• Custodian of the following records;
(a) Deduction or instalment plan records. (b) Sending debit or credit notes to brokers.

4. Receptionist (Lusaka) (Position) 1
Requirements.
• Minimum 5 O levels credits including Mathematics and English.
• Diploma in Secretarial Training.
• Diploma in a Business-related field will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office package, Office Equipment and application.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Main Duties will include;
• Welcoming clients in a professional and friendly manner
• Responding to customer queries both telephone inbound/outbound and walk-in’s.
• Ensuring the reception area is always clean and tidy
• Ensuring al marketing materials at the reception are always tidily placed
• Ensure the image of the head office is always impeccable.

5. Receptionist/Cashier (Ndola) (Position) 1
Requirements
• Minimum 5 O levels credits including mathematics & English.
• Diploma in secretarial Training
• Diploma in a Business-related field will be added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in similar role.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both written/verbal.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office Packages, Office Equipment and Application.

Main Duties will include;
• Welcoming all clients in a professional and friendly manner.
• Responding to customer queries both telephone inbound/outbound and Walk-ins
• Ensure the reception area is clean and Tidy.
• Ensure all marketing materials at the reception area are always tidily placed.
• Ensure all marketing materials at the reception area are always tidily placed.
• Ensure the image of the branch is always impeccable.
• Handling of petty cash.
• Bank and Petty cash reconciliations.
• Preparation of Bank transactions involving Daily Banking.
