JOB DETAILS:
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Namibia Branch Manager / Country Manager to lead operations and drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
• Business Development:
• Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand market share and profitability.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the scaffolding, rope access, and fabric maintenance industries in industrial, marine, offshore, and mining sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry associations, and government officials.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Team Management:
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to support operations.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members.
• Equip the team with necessary skills and resources to meet objectives.
• Operational Management:
• Oversee daily operations, including project management, resource allocation, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Manage financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Strategic Planning:
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop long-term strategies to position the business for growth.
• Collaborate with corporate leadership to align local strategies with company objectives.

Key Skills:
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Financial acumen with proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies.
• Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
• Deep understanding of safety regulations and standards, particularly in the marine and mining sectors.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the scaffolding, rope access, or fabric maintenance industries.
• Proven track record of managing and growing businesses in foreign markets.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential.
• Experience in the industrial, marine, and mining sectors is preferred.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
