Job Profile: National Coordinator
The National Coordinator is part of the Field Team (National Manager; National Coordinator; Field Coordinator; Field Support Officer; Field Connections Officer).
Field Team responsibilities include:
• Observe gold-youth’s core documents, DNA (Vision, Mission, Values, Audacious Goal; System Change Strategy) and Matrix Functional Framework- and demonstrate a shared ethos that is an example to others.
• Support to inform, deliver and conduct field operations, on behalf of gold-youth in the country and or region within that country.
• Serve as part of the National field team supporting implementation and administration of 7 programme field services, thereby fulfilling necessary programme and organisational support activities as required. (This is done through a national field team of maximum two people who in turn supervise and support field teams of one to three people in their field service implementation in specific provinces/ regions).

Main purpose:
• Conduct administration for gold-youth’s national field service delivery and reporting.
• Support the National Manager, ensuring that field team implementation is delivered and administrated according to gold standards for programme and organizational support.
• Fulfil the role of country spokesperson with funders and stakeholders in the absence of the National Manager

Key Responsibilities:
• Hold day-to-day administration and support related to national activities.
• With focus on, but not limited to, the following gold functions at the national field level:
• Quality Assurance
• Impact Management
• People and Culture
• Finance Management
• Data Coordination: Ensure effective collection, management & sharing of qualitative & quantitative data.
• Financial Coordination: Ensure sound financial practices and processes are adhered to, cultivating a culture of stewardship, correctness, and promptness of deliverables.
• People Coordination: Ensure effective people and culture data management, supporting adherence to policies and processes and performance management, and strengthening the depth of gold DNA in the field team culture.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Facilitation and Train the Trainer experience
• Relevant degree in teaching, psychology, social work, development practice or equivalent experience.
• Knowledgeable of up-to-date donor and funding trends, both private and public.
• Proven experience with engaging civil society organisations and churches across denominations.
• Proven hands-on experience in managing community development programmes with specific experience in youth peer education and youth development.
• Experience with managing and executing operational budgets.
• At least two years’ experience in youth peer education programme management including management of related programme stakeholders or relevant community experience.
• A valid Driver’s License.
